Cookie Policy
This document explains which cookies and similar technologies the website goidea.net (hereinafter the "Website") uses, for what purpose and how you manage your consents.
We keep things minimal: by default the Website uses only the technologies necessary for it to operate, and anything beyond that starts only after your consent.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you use websites. Alongside them, websites may use the browser's local storage technology (localStorage), which works in a similar way — it keeps small pieces of data in the browser so the website "remembers" your settings.
On our Website we mainly use the browser's local storage (localStorage) to remember your settings. For simplicity, in this document we refer to these technologies collectively as "cookies".
2. Which categories we use
2.1. Necessary (always active)
This data is necessary for the Website to work properly and requires no consent. It remembers, among other things:
- the selected theme (light/dark),
- the selected language,
- your consent decisions (so the banner does not appear on every visit).
Without this information the Website would not function correctly.
2.2. Analytics (requires consent)
For traffic analysis we use the tool Plausible. It is a privacy-friendly analytics service:
- it stores no cookies or other identifiers on your device,
- it identifies no individual users and does not track you across websites,
- it collects only aggregated, anonymous statistics (e.g. number of visits, referral source, device type, country),
- it processes the data within the European Union.
Although Plausible uses no cookies, we start it only after your consent to analytics.
2.3. Remarketing / marketing (requires consent)
This category is currently unused. We keep it in the settings in case marketing tools are added in the future — they would then start only after consent, and this document would be updated.
2.4. Third-party cookies
If you use the call booking feature (Cal.com), the provider of this tool may set its own cookies necessary for the booking widget to work. This happens in accordance with the provider's privacy and cookie policy.
3. How you manage consents
On your first visit we show a banner in which you can:
- accept everything,
- choose necessary only,
- go to the settings and enable or disable individual categories yourself.
You can change your decisions at any time — click the "Manage cookies" button in the Website footer. This displays the consent settings again.
4. Cookie management in the browser
Independently of the settings on the Website, you can manage cookies and local storage through your browser — view, block or delete them. Instructions are available in the browser's help pages, e.g.:
- Google Chrome,
- Mozilla Firefox,
- Safari,
- Microsoft Edge.
Please note that blocking necessary technologies may affect the correct operation of the Website (e.g. remembering the theme, the language or your consents).
5. Personal data and contact
The principles of processing personal data — including data collected with your consent as part of analytics — are described in the Privacy Policy.
